In this Chuddle Club meeting, we dive into the surreal and ultra-violent world of the 2008 Japanese horror film, Tokyo Gore Police. Directed by Yoshihiro Nishimura, the movie follows the story of Ruka, a young woman who works for the Tokyo Police Corporation, a private organization that has taken over law enforcement in a dystopian future. Ruka's mission is to hunt down and kill "engineers," mutated criminals with bizarre and deadly weapons that threaten the safety of the city. Join us as we immerse ourselves in the blood-soaked world of Tokyo Gore Police and explore its significance in the horror genre and beyond.
